Review of Dos Palmas: A Family-Friendly RetreatDuring our recent family vacation, we chose to stay at Dos Palmas, which conveniently sits just a 5-10 minute drive from San Jose Airport. The welcoming atmosphere created by owners Peter and Flora truly set the stage for a memorable experience. They arranged our transport from the airport and were immensely helpful with local tips, making us feel at home. Traveling with kids, we appreciated the spacious room equipped with two comfortable beds and a small kitchen area, great for our family's needs. While there is no air conditioning, the ceiling fan sufficed, ensuring a cozy night after a long travel day. The highlight for my children was discovering the beautiful gardens on-site, where they marveled at charming birds, including a hummingbird. Although we didn't use the small pool, its presence certainly would have added to our family-friendly experience. The convenient location, coupled with the owners' genuine hospitality, assured us that Dos Palmas is an excellent choice for families seeking both comfort and accessibility. We look forward to returning on our next trip.
